Tab Vault — Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 6, 2026

The short version

Tab Vault does not collect, transmit, or sell any of your data. Everything it saves — your sessions, snapshots, and settings — is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage.local API and never leaves your device.

What we do not do

Permissions and why each is needed

Your control

You can export all your data to a file at any time, import it back, or delete everything from the Settings page. Uninstalling Tab Vault removes its locally stored data from your browser, so export first if you want to keep it.

Payments

If you upgrade to Pro, payment is handled by a third-party processor (ExtensionPay). Tab Vault never sees or stores your card details.
